Yorkshire Imperial Band are honoured to lead the Remembrance Day parade through the streets of Pontefract, joining veterans, serving personnel, cadets, and members of the local community in this important act of commemoration. The parade makes its way through the town centre to the war memorial, where a service of remembrance is held.

The band will perform traditional marches and hymns throughout the parade, providing a dignified musical accompaniment as the town comes together to remember the fallen. Remembrance Day holds a special significance for brass bands, which have long played a central role in commemorative events across the north of England.

We invite members of the public to line the route and join us in paying respect to all those who have served. It is a privilege for the band to play our part in this annual tribute.
