About Us

The Yorkshire Imperial Urquhart Travel Band is considered to be one of the finest and most prestigious brass bands in the world and competes regularly in many championships.  The band has been based in Leeds since it's inception in 1936 as the Yorkshire Copperworks Band which later became the Yorkshire Imperial Metals Band.  The band's heritage and reputation for quality performances and concerts is second to none.

The band is supported by David Urquhart (Travel) Ltd and is proud to be a Chameleon Concert Artist.
