Carols for a Choral Future

Gala Christmas Carol Concert features a cast of 200 singing out to secure the future of a choral tradition that has been at the heart of Leeds for nearly 200 years.

The Friends of the Music of Leeds Parish Church present a Gala Christmas Carol Concert in aid of the Church’s Choral Foundation Appeal. A massed choir of 200 and the champion section Yorkshire Imperial Urquhart Travel Band aim to raise the roof with the magical melodies of all your favourite Christmas Carols.  The concert, Carols for a Choral Future, is at Leeds Parish Church on Wednesday 9th December 2009, starting at 7.00 pm.

This unique carol concert, now in its sixth year, has become as integral to the Advent calendar at Leeds Parish Church as Christmas itself. The evening provides a really excellent opportunity for all the family to enjoy exquisite singing from the combined choirs, as well as joining in with all your favourites.
